Privacy Policy

Quarky stores account, project, and security data so the platform can function and keep your content available.

What we collect

We collect usernames, encrypted email addresses, hashed passwords, optional profile bios, avatar and banner uploads, project content, project files, screenshots, comments, likes, follows, notifications, service settings tied to your account, and optional two-factor authentication data.

Why we collect it

We use this data to create accounts, protect logins, host projects, power community features, show discovery feeds, send product updates, and keep the service reliable.

Security

Passwords are hashed, selected database fields are encrypted, uploaded files are stored encrypted on disk, and optional two-factor authentication is available. No system is perfectly secure, so you should still use a strong password and enable 2FA.

Visibility and content

Public projects can be listed on Quarky. Unlisted projects are not shown in public feeds but can still be accessed by direct link. Private projects are limited to the owner, with internal service access only when needed to run the platform. Public profiles can show your bio, avatar, banner, follower counts, and public projects.

Retention

Project data, profile media, notifications, and service activity records may be kept for as long as they are needed to run the platform, restore content, or support account security.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, remove your own projects, enable or disable 2FA, and update your password. Site-wide registration, upload, and login availability may change over time.
